About the event
Accidents and emergencies can happen anywhere—on the road, at home, at church, or in our schools. When severe bleeding occurs, minutes matter. The Wyoming Shield Initiative’s Stop the Bleed class gives everyday people the skills and confidence to act before EMS arrives.
Join us for a hands-on, practical training led by experienced, certified instructors. You’ll learn how to:
Recognize life-threatening bleeding
Apply a tourniquet correctly
Pack and dress wounds
Use direct pressure to control bleeding
