About the event
Join us for an immersive adventure in the heart of Wyoming's stunning landscapes, where you'll learn the essential skills of map reading and navigation. Whether you're a novice explorer or a seasoned adventurer, Compass & Courage offers hands-on training to enhance your navigational prowess.
This 2 day (16 Hrs) training is composed of both classroom instruction and a land navigation exercise. It allows students to learn & demonstrate map reading, compass, and wilderness land navigation skills. The course requires a moderate level of exertion. Students will be expected to engage in all practical skills which include walking distances up to 3 miles. Fifty percent of the training will be outdoors regardless of weather) so students will need to dress accordingly for inclement weather Early registration recommended.
